Installation and access to the app

Installing the app

Administration > Apps / Marketplace > Marketplace tab > Install

Once installed, the app will automatically be accessible to all your managers and resources.

Configuring resources' access

Administration > Apps / Marketplace > Apps tab > OrganizationCharts > Configure resources app access button

If you wish to change the access to the app, click on this icon Capture_d_e_cran_2020-09-04_a__09.48.30.png.

  • Accessible only for allowed manager: You get to choose which manager has access to the app. In order to do so, go to the Administration interface, in the Managers/Roles section, open the manager/role card and enable the OrganizationChart app in the Apps section.
  • Accessible for all manager: all managers will have the app installed by default.
  • Accessible only for allowed manager & all resources: all resources with an intranet account will have access to the app and you can choose which manager has access to it. In order to do so, go to the Administration interface, in the Managers/Roles section, open the manager/role card and enable the OrganizationChart app in the Apps section.
  • Accessible for all manager & all resources: all resources with an intranet account will have access to the app and all active managers will have access to it.
Functionality and usage of the app

Functionality

This app allows you to create organization charts for you CRM companies.

Usage

CRM > Company card > Contacts tab

From the Contacts tab you can view the app at the bottom of the page. This is where you can create your organization chart.

You have the option to choose a specific color for each department.

In order to do so, click on the configuration button  Capture_d_e_cran_2020-09-03_a__17.29.15.png and make your choice. 😊

Creating an organization chart

To create your organization chart, you should select the highest-ranking contact of the company and, by using the "+" button, attach other contacts to their team.

Editing the organization chart

If you wish to edit your organization chart; for example because someone left the company and was replaced by someone else; all you have to do click on the pen icon "Edit this node" and look for the contact you wish to replace them with.

Deleting a contact from the organization chart

All you have to do is click on the trash icon "Delete this node" that appears when hovering on the contact.

Note: Deleting a contact from an organization chart will not delete the contact card from your CRM.

IMPORTANT !

All contacts attached to this contact will also be deleted from the organization chart. We recommend you to use the edit feature in a case of replacement.
