Summary

Using AI in BoondManager

The AI can operate on:

  • Opportunities
  • Candidates
  • Resources

For example, to launch an AI-assisted positioning search, it couldn’t be easier!

Go to the relevant Opportunities, then to the Positionings tab.

Here’s how the feature displays if no positioning has yet been added:

Simply click on "Find profiles with AI" to launch the search. The AI will review information in the Candidate or Resource records as well as attachments.

The AI will select 20 qualified profiles for the opportunity and provide several key details to help you make a decision.

  1. First, you’ll see the profile type ("Candidate" or "Resource") and the AI's confidence score.
  2. Here, the AI gives you a quick summary of why the profile matches your opportunity.
  3. You can complete your analysis by checking the candidate/resource status, CJM, and contract type.
  4. Access the CV directly for a final review before positioning the profile.
Configure profile suggestions

The AI analyzes your opportunities to suggest the best profiles. You can improve the results by configuring a pre-filter to narrow the search scope.

  Shared settings

These settings are shared with our BoondSuggest feature!

There are 2 types of settings: from the admin interface and personal (at manager level)

Admin-side settings

To change the default configuration, go to:

Administration Global Settings Opportunities/Projects

  1. Select the search scope for candidates and resources: my agencies, my teams...
  2. Exclude candidate and resource records based on type: converted to resource, director, business engineer...
  3. Exclude candidate and resource records based on status.
  4. Select the Opportunity fields that will be used as keywords in the search: tools, domain, sector, title (one, all, none...). This allows you to benefit from Boond’s powerful indexing capabilities.
  5. Select which filters from the Opportunity will be automatically applied during searches: tools, domain, sector, title.

  Manager settings take priority!

If your managers have already added their own custom settings, these will override the defaults. Changing admin settings won’t affect their configuration.

User-side settings (Manager)

Your administrator has already configured a default setup to help you, but you can also customize the criteria for your own access!

Your name in the top-right corner Settings Profile Suggestions panel

  1. Select the search scope for candidates and resources: my agencies, my teams...
  2. Exclude candidate and resource records based on type: converted to resource, director, business engineer...
  3. Exclude candidate and resource records based on status.
  4. Select the Opportunity fields to be used as keywords in the search: tools, domain, sector, title. This leverages Boond’s indexing power.
  5. Select which filters from the Opportunity will be automatically applied during searches.
FAQ

Does the AI search through my entire database?

For practicality and quality of results, the search includes all your resources and candidates created or updated within the last 30 days.

Do I need to configure specific permissions for managers?

No additional permissions are required once the AI feature is enabled for you.

What is the scoring based on? How can I improve it?

The algorithm calculates a match percentage between the data in the Opportunity and the Candidate’s record.

On the Resource/Candidate side, the AI prioritizes the title, skills, experience, and attached CV (it also looks at mobility, tools, evaluations, etc.).

On the Opportunity side, field completion is crucial — especially description, attachments, title, required criteria, tools, domain, budget... The more information, the better.
