Action filters optimize your search for cards by sorting those in your module according to the selected actions over a given period, making it easier to identify those that have certain actions and those that don't have them.

Daily usage scenarios for filters

To illustrate the use of action filters, here are various possible cases.

Selecting only one type of action

Example 1:

You want to identify the resources you presented to a client this week, in order to contact them for feedback.

  1. Resources module > Filters > Period > Filtered elements: Cards with the following action type
  2. Select this type of action: Client presentation
  3. Then select the period: Dynamic period - This week

(Don't forget to refine the search if necessary, by adding filters such as Perimeter, Card state, or any other filter.)

Selecting multiple action types

Example 2:

You would like to list all your CRM contacts to re-engage, since they haven't been contacted for a month.

  1. CRM module (Contacts view) > Filters > Period > Filtered elements: Cards without the following action type
  2. Select the types of actions: Client Presentation, Call, Email, Meeting, Mission follow-up
  3. Then select the period: Dynamic period - This month

(Don't forget to refine the search if necessary, by adding filters such as Perimeter, Card state, or any other filter.)

Knowing which cards have no action

Example 3:

Over the past few days, you imported several Candidate profiles from LinkedIn with our LinkedIn extension, and now you're looking to identify all Candidate cards that haven't been processed yet (for example, those that haven't been contacted yet or require an initial note).

  1. Candidates module > Filters > Period > Filtered elements: Cards with no action
  2. Then select the period: Dynamic period - Last month or even Indifferent

(Don't forget to refine the search if necessary, by adding filters such as Perimeter, Card state, or any other filter.)

F.A.Q.

Why can't I find these filters in the Project or Billing modules?

For now, these action filters are only available in the following modules:

  • Candidates
  • Resources
  • CRM (Contacts view and Company view)
  • Opportunities

We are actively working to extend these filters to other modules. 😉

I selected the filter for cards containing actions of type X and Y, however the results also show me cards containing only actions X or containing only actions Y, when I only want cards containing BOTH types: X AND Y.

Currently, action filters use a search system with the "OR" operator.

This means that when multiple action types are selected, the search results will match any of the specified criteria.

For example, if you search for cards containing "Email" and "Todo" actions, the system will list the cards that meet either of these criteria (and thus, cards containing either "Email" actions or "Todo" actions).

Therefore, you may potentially find some cards containing both the selected X and Y action types because the tool has identified one of these selected types.

But it is not yet possible to filter with the "AND" operator in order to only get, as a result, cards containing each of the selected types (X and Y and Z etc.).
